RETURNS & REFUND POLICY
SECTION 1: GENERAL RETURNS GUIDELINES
At SKIPA Store, our goal is to offer you the best quality and satisfaction with every product we produce and ship to you. We do however understand that there may be circumstances in which you are dissatisfied with your order. We do have guidelines for Returns & Refunds to ensure that you still remain happy with our overall service to you.
For items that you would like to return, please note that our Returns & Refunds Policy lasts 30 days. If a period of 30 days has passed since receiving your order, we, unfortunately, will not offer you an exchange or refund.
SECTION 2: CONDITIONS FOR RETURNS
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. If the garment(s) were shipped with any security or bar-coded swing-tags, these items need to be in the same condition as delivered to you.
For purchased items to be in the same condition, please take extra care when trying your garments on. Any returns that you do not meet the policy will not be accepted.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
SECTION 3: RETURNS PROCESS
We offer 1 free return per order. If all Returns conditions as stated above are met, we will arrange for our courier provider to collect the parcel from your address. Please note that Returns will only be collected from the same delivery address used in your order shipment.
Once you are certain that you would like to return your parcel, having met all conditions stated above, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org quote your Order Number. Our team will respond to you within 24 hours to arrange for our courier provider to collect your parcel from the delivery address used in your order.
SECTION 4: SALE ITEMS
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately, sale and clearance items cannot be refunded.
SECTION 5: EXCHANGES
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Once you are certain that you would like to exchange your parcel, having met all conditions stated above, please send an email to email@example.com quote your Order Number. Our team will respond to you within 24 hours to arrange for our courier provider to collect your parcel from the delivery address used in your order.
Once we have received your parcel, we will send you a confirmation and arrange for your new exchange garment to be shipped to you. Please note that we can only collect and ship exchanges from and to the same address used in your initial order.
SECTION 6: REFUNDS
If you are returning a product and would like a refund, please take note that refunds are credited to customers in full. However, shipping costs will not be refunded.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 24 hours of refund approval. Please allow between 7-14 working days for your refund credit to reflect in your account. While it is desirous for us to process refunds in a speedier manner, different banks and credit provider policies impact our overall accounting process.
SECTION 7: GIFTS
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he or she will be notified about your return from our team.
SECTION 8: INTERNATIONAL RETURNS
While international customers are eligible for Returns & Refunds, we are however unable to offer free Returns & Exchanges. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
To return your product, you should mail your product to: 18 Jules Street, Jeppestown, Johannesburg, GP, 2043, South Africa. Depending on your location and address provided in your initial order, the shipping duration exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over R500.00, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. We recommend our key courier provider, DHL Express here.
